A few words about us:With a primary focus on guaranteed high-availability web site hosting and related data services, the Xensei Corporation is a small but strong Web Site Hosting and Internet Service Provider located just south of Boston, Massachusetts. One of the very first ISPs established in the Boston area, and the first south of the city, bar none, Xensei has been in operation providing Internet services in this area since 1994. Xensei remains one of the oldest facilities-based ISP's in the area, and is probably the single oldest still in private hands.
Xensei provides a comprehensive line of web hosting/web presence packages, as well as complimentary high level services such as web site authoring, web based application development, web presence consultation, and network design consultation, while still continuing to support the high quality personal and corporate Internet access services that our company was originally founded on.
Despite our experience, we are not big, we are not flashy - no stock options or pool tables here. We have chosen to remain manageably small and just provide services the old-fashioned way: they work and our customers never have to worry about downtime. We offer guaranteed performance and reliability levels for our services, as well as one of the few cash-back Service Level Agreements (SLA's) in the industry. We were also among the first to offer such a guarantee.
Xensei maintains a strong local focus and is community oriented, but we are capable of providing services to anyone on the globe, and have in our nine year history served customers on six of the seven continents (we're still waiting for someone to call us from Antarctica.) ;-)

Sales/Marketing Manager
Description/Responsibilities:
We seek a skilled, motivated sales person to do what they do best: prospect, sell, and close, and help us to grow our business. We are concerned with one thing: results. If you can sell our specialized product line, we want you.
We are among a handful of elite companies offering the exclusive hosting service known as High-Availability or HA hosting. Our service is not the lowest priced, but it is cost-effective. We will teach you everything you need to know about this technology, and what differentiates it from standard commercial hosting in order to best sell to the small-medium business market that has always been our focus. Once you understand how it works, we'll also expect your input on how we can make and keep our services as desirable to our target customers as possible.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial self-starter who can help develop our business without tremendous support or hand-holding - an ideal candidate would be an experienced sales person who is willing to start out with us part time and grow with the company; start out at straight (but very generous) commission, prove yourself to us, and we'll provide a permanent, full-time position including a generous base salary plus commission and the usual benefits. Some leads will be provided, others you'll need to prospect for, so you can't be afraid to cold-call or tap in to other available resources. You can also work with our current customer base to find those who may benefit from additional services we offer (including extended service contracts, consulting projects, server co-location, and T1 based Internet access, to name but a few). You will also work with our web developer to improve the selling power of our web site, which is one of our primary marketing vehicles.
