Xensei's Web Host Ultra service requires that you choose a domain name ("yourcompany.com") for your web site and e-mail addresses. Like your own personal Internet calling card, your domain name will uniquely identify your organization to your clients and other people on the Internet you do business with. Internet domain names must be registered with the InterNIC*, however Xensei's service engineers will be happy to help you choose a domain name and to process your InterNIC registration for you.**
Xensei's Web Host Ultra service includes many advanced features, such as:

A virtual Web server including a "root level" URL for your Web site ("http://www.yourdomain.com/"), and an unlimited number of your staff's personal web sites.

A virtual FTP server including a "root level" URL for your FTP site ("ftp://ftp.yourdomain.com/")

* The InterNIC is currently the central registration authority for all Internet domain names in North America ending in ".com", ".org", or ".net".
** Xensei's processing of your domain name registration is included at no extra charge, however the InterNIC will bill you separately for your domain name registration. The InterNIC's current rate for domain name registrations (as of 7/1/99), is $70.00 (US) for the first two years.
*** Although individual web page sizes vary, one gigabyte is equivalent to approximately 10,000 accesses or "hits" to a single web page of average size.

**** SSL secure/encrypted hosting requires purchasing what's known as an "SSL Server Certificate" from an independant certificate authority. Xensei will process your certificate application through the Thawte certifciate authority for you at no extra charge, however Thawte will bill you separately for you certificate. Thawte's current rate for SSL Server Certificates (as of 7/1/99), is $100.00 (US) for the first year.
