Friends of the Reservation

In 1976 The Friends of the Blue Hills was created to restore, preserve and protect approximately 8,000 acres of the Historic Blue Hills and Neponset River Reservations. Active volunteer committees work on the preservation of historic, cultural, natural, and recreational resources. The Friends also run outdoor activities and workshops year-round, including skiing, hiking, and mountain biking.
