OBJECTIVES:

To analyze the legal infrastructure of target emerging market to determine the risk. Ascertain the real incentives and disincentives created by the legal environment, whether they are legal, economic or even social. Utilize information create strategies, predict financial opportunities, and legal risk in order to help investors and companies take advantage of the increase of international trade and lessen the risk for direct and indirect investment in these volatile of new markets.

Economic Analysis of Emerging Markets Legal Systems, Developed theories concerning the efficiency of legal infrastructure and its impact on economic systems. Developed methods of analysis to determine efficiency of legal systems dependent on concepts of economics and Game theory. Developed methods of research to apply theory to analysis of legal infrastructure in all markets. Used analysis to predict economic, political and legal situation in emerging markets including: Thailand, Japan, Korea, India, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. Published articles and letters with Harvard International Review (Summer 03), Foreign Affairs, Financial Times, ChinaOnline, NYU Stern, Asia Crises Home Page, University of Virginia Darden, Samsung Economic Research Institute and local Newspapers. Present work is a book on law in China commissioned by Quorum Books.
