Many of us knew and loved Mary Jo.
Her loss to breast cancer was a cruel blow,
but one which challenged us to ensure that her
spirit and caring for patients lived on. In that spirit, the
Dr. Mary Jo Nugent Breast Cancer Foundation was formed.

The Foundation is a true "grass roots" organization.
All of the Foundation's activities are carried out by volunteers,
thus maximizing the funds available for the Foundation's
breast cancer programs:
